In 1998 Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre commissioned Ron Smith and I to
create a concept for a permanent site-specific installation at Casula
Railway Station. This project was aimed at helping to bring together the
sometimes conflicted local communities. The visual concept we developed
retrieved and celebrated the histories of both the Anglo-Celtic and the
immigrant communities of the area.
